    I’m not fond of small plain bobby pins or hair pin. This is a hair pin Diane Hair Pins, Black, 60/card It is not a bobby pin. I’m not the type of stylist that uses a lot of bobby pins or hair pins in up dos. All the same, I do a lot of formal hair but use a minimal amount of pins. I think one of the reasons hair stylists don’t do up dos is they are afraid. Their fear merely comes from placement of the bobby pins.     How do I get the best application of lipstick?

      Use a lipstick brush. By applying lipstick directly from the tube you lose control of where you put it. You don’t get the precise coverage you get with a brush. For best results outline your lips with a lip pencil. Then using a lipstick brush with lipstick on it,  apply it to your lips. Start at the center of your top lip and work your way out on either side. Next, do the same techniques on your bottom lip. Then blot your lips with a tissue.
